love right now is garbage can barricades
tear gas thrown right back to its source
pulling tight on to your loves, arm in arm
love right now is remembering who belongs to this land
who knows how to tend to this soil here
and these plants here
and this integrity always
because this land has been stolen, and begs for rematriation
the only virus is the illusion and enactment of white supremacy, of
patriarchy, of all systems of hierarchy that nature does not recognize
love right now is claiming our lives as precious, uncontrollable, and bound together
we have always had the technology to protect each other
real, true love will always be worth protecting
love right now is hot + fast + quick in the face of those who have forgotten love, and
the stakes have been this high
and,
love is the unfurling of your fascia in gentle hands that know you
the resonance created when your body and voice is a tuning fork, and truth is clear
and vibrates.
love moves at all paces sometimes all at once
it meets the urgency that this moment requires with fierce integrity and
it stretches and expands wide, wide, wide enough to encapsulate all that has ever been and all that will ever be
the blueprint of health and tools of resistance in all of our ancestors, seeds that we carry and hope to grow
murmurations in water that always moves, i’m always amazed that
there are infinite scales of love
a mystery technology we devote ourselves to
with vigor and initiation and recognition and pain and breath of life and
so
what are your ways of loving right now - in this hot fiery decay that reminds you why
we’re actually here?
